Project 1
In this project we were tasked with creating a poster based on an architect we were assigned. Using skills from the tutorial classes which we learnt to properly compose a poster and use coloring medium to present this poster.
Project 2
We had to draw all orthographic drawings for farnsworth house. Following the proper conventions. Furthermore we had to include an axonometric view and not only a 1 point perspective but also a 2 point perspective.
This project provided me with the knowledge to project any drawings for any building.
Project 3
Integration with AD1 to compose a presentation board for final project. Including orthographic drawings and an axonometric drawing as well. Along with tattoo stamps and an abstract drawing.
Tutorials
We had to do 4 different tutorial tasks relating to different topics. First was experimenting with line quality then shading techniques followed by architectural lettering and finally coloring media
Self Reflection
Overall design communication was a very important module to learn how to properly communicate my ideas with others it taught me the necessary skills to do so
Learning Experience
The module was laid out very well with projects progressing and carrying the learned skills over into the next project and the lectures were beneficial in understanding.
Tutor and Module Coordinator
Mr. Adib my tutor and Dr. Filzani my module coordinator were both excellent and provided me with the help i needed at anytime
