Projects
Project 1
This project urged us to explore design elements and use them to express design principles in a unique way

It taught us how to design with the design principles and elements in mind and use them to create a captivating design
Project 2
The bamboo project was a study into anthropometry, ergonomics and tectonics. It was a difficult challenge to design a structure which included all these elements together and the further challenge of using bamboo.

The project advanced our problem solving skills and taught us valuable knowledge on how to construct such a structure. Working together in a group was also something which added to the learning experience
Project 3
Project 3 comprised of all the elements we had previously learned before. Using the design elements and principles to design a structure with anthropometry and ergonomics in mind while accounting for the different tectonics and materials all to aid in presenting our narrative

Project 3 made us make use of all our knowledge to present a final structure which had all the qualities from our previous projects
Self Reflection
Architectural design being our core module really thought us the foundation on which design in the architectural world is based of. It required us to think outside of the box and to fully utilize our time to complete our projects. Though it was the most difficult it was definitely the most beneficial in terms of our learning
Learning Experience
The projects had a good progression and the lectures were in accordance to the different projects aiding us in learning what we needed to know to complete them.
Tutor and Module Coordinator
Ms . Yan was very enthusiastic about the module and helped run the module smoothly. My tutor Ms . Sue May was extremely helpful throughout the semester and always provided constructive feedback to help improve my designs
TGC
From the TGC qualities both interpersonal and intrapersonal skills were learned as we had projects which were individual and group. Disicipline specific knowledge was also acquired as the projects included many concepts and techniques used in the field
