I AM NATURE BOOKLET

This assignment was to create a booklet about our selected biome

TASK

After watching documentaries in class we were tasked to create booklet for the them "I Am Nature".

We had to choose a biome from the ones we had been taught in lectures and then identify elements of the biome and describe them.

In addition to identifying flora and fauna we had to make an awareness poster as well.

Progress

I started out with very rough sketches to get a basic idea of how my booklet would look, this was done digitally as it would be easier to make changes. This was to just arrange the elements and rough out composition

Then I colored my digital draft in which helped me get a better look at how my booklet would turn out when finished

After the digital draft was finalized I started work on the real one sketching out and then inking and finally coloring it in with markers

Outcome

I used markers to color most of the parts in with water color for the backgrounds. The work turned out good and with the information and icon.

The cover page included a small introduction with the main heading for the booklet " The Green Home "

My favorite page was the one with the Information about the Hyacinth Macaw

Reflection

From the TGCs I gained digital literacy as I did digital drafts and also obtained information for the assignment using digital tools

Also Intrapersonal Skills as I had to manage my time and hold myself accountable for my work which is important as having learnt this skill it will benefit me in the future
