Projects
Project 1A
The first project focused mainly on researching about our site. We were tasked with conducting a thorough site analysis and base it around a specific theme for our site.
We chose to focus more on the youth and how they lacked the spaces needed for them to be able to inhabit the city.
Through our observations we also discovered a lack of third spaces and public spaces. Furthermore, there was lots of movement but no meaningful places for pause.

Project 1B
Based on our site research in the previous assignment we were to explore our own individual positions.
My direction went deeper into understanding why the people in the KOMTAR area felt disconnected.
A macro study of the site and the existing psychological condition was use to inform my position. The resulting architecture would be a building that would help people connect to their identities through participating in the different processes of cultural preservation/documentation

Project 3
After understanding the site with our previous tasks. We were now to design a community center catering for the site users and to address the most important issues to be fixed in the site.
for me I chose to address the disconnection between the different age groups so to design a space that promotes intergenerational activity.

Self Reflection
This semester the final project was more challenging as there were more factors to consider. But overall the challenge was great.
Learning Experience
This semester taught us more about empathy in design which is an essential skill.
